05 Jun Do not give up, no matter how difficult things seem
When I got pregnant, I was 17 years old and in the 11th grade. The child’s father and I already lived together at my mother’s place. I was really scared of what people would say, and I thought about having an abortion, but after talking to several people, I decided to give birth instead. There was a lot of bullying at school by the other students. I was afraid that the teachers would condemn me too, but they didn’t. They supported me and helped me. My partner supported me, as well as my mother and a few close friends. The Crisis Pregnancy Center helped me materially, financially and emotionally from the very beginning. I was also enrolled in a pregnancy course, which helped me a lot. The things I learned there are still useful to me now.
It’s important to believe in yourself. Do not give up, no matter how difficult things seem. The child will make up for everything, even all the frightened tears.
