I was 16 years old then

I was 16 years old then, and like all people of that age, I was in school. I met the child’s dad by chance, we were not dating. My friends did not suspect anything about the pregnancy for a long time. When my parents found out, they helped as much as they could, but they also needed some time to get used to the idea. I received the most support from totally unexpected people (teachers, community members). It was difficult time, because so much was changing in my life, and I was a teenager too.  I got a lot of help at various stages, but mostly it came from the most unexpected places. It was surprising. At that time I did not know anything about the Crisis Pregnancy Center.
I would like to say to every mother – do not be afraid, fight, do not give up! You are not alone – the most important thing is to believe and not to give up.
