Never give up – face your challenges

Never give up – face your challenges

“25 years old is the right time: if you give birth now, you won’t need to do it later” – these were my father’s first words when I told him about my pregnancy.  I received a lot of support from him, and I was reassured by the words: “I raised three of you alone, and we will raise one more, so do not be nervous”.  Although I felt very sad and unprepared at that time, good emotions prevailed. I felt extremely happy that I had received the gift of motherhood and thanked the baby for choosing me to be its mother. This thought was even enough to bring me out of depression. However, when I found out in the third month of my pregnancy that I would have to expect and raise this child alone, I almost broke down … The Crisis Pregnancy Center helped me to calm down, find inner balance, and prepare for childbirth. They provided baby items, as well as psychological and material support. I felt safer and began to feel proud to be becoming a mother.
